Molson gets the deal done with NHL for a sponsorship somewhere near $375M. The article doesn't talk much about what companies were going after it besides Labatt being angry that the NHL wants to end relationships after this season. Are all the beer companies that dumb? Like you wouldn't want to sponsor a league where it is dreamed about to drink beer out of the Stanley Cup? What other trophy can you drink out of? I'm real excited for the next NHL season as they want to create new events. Don't fuck it up NHL. We need some bad ass events if you want to spread your brand more.
